Information we collect

The workspace stores the name, contact information, pickup address, uploaded photos, item details, access information, estimated distance, quotes and booking details you provide. Customers can submit requests without an account. A secure browser cookie associates your requests and photos with your current browser. Clearing that cookie can prevent you from seeing past requests unless you return using your private request link. Links expire after 90 days; the owner can replace them. Owner sign-in protects business management tools.

Business account sign-in

Supabase processes business account email addresses, password authentication, confirmation and reset emails. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider. Secure browser cookies maintain your session. Creating an account does not grant workspace access; ComfortEase invitations and server-side membership checks control business records.

Business workspace requests

If you request platform access, we store your business name, contact name, email, optional phone number, service area, notes and request status. A browser cookie helps limit repeated submissions. The ComfortEase platform owner uses these details to review your request and discuss setup and fees. This contact permission is for your workspace request, not a marketing subscription. Submitting the form does not create an active workspace or start billing.

How information is used

Information is used to prepare and review requests, calculate preliminary estimates, approve quotes and manage bookings. Photos are stored for job review. Avoid including people, documents or unrelated sensitive information in photos.

On-site condition photos

ComfortEase requests permission before taking before-and-after work-site photos to document items, access, existing conditions and completed service. These photos are used for service documentation and reviewing concerns, and may be provided to insurers, advisers or authorities when needed to handle a claim or meet a legal obligation. Permission for job documentation is separate from permission for advertising. Avoid including people, documents or unrelated sensitive areas. Ask ComfortEase through your private request or existing business contact about a photo concern.

Address mileage lookup

When automatic mileage is connected, the pickup address is sent to Google Maps to calculate driving distance from Eola Road and East New York Street in Aurora, Illinois. This distance supports service-area checks and travel estimates.

Storage and access

The service uses hosting, database, photo-storage and authentication providers to operate the workspace. Customer requests and photos are checked against your browser session; the owner can review submitted requests. No system can guarantee absolute security. No advertising trackers or data-sale feature are implemented. If you explicitly allow AI processing and the service is connected, photos are sent to OpenAI to suggest items for your estimate. Permission applies to the current request; adding or removing photos automatically refreshes suggestions until you choose manual entry. Suggestions must be confirmed and do not set final prices.

Notifications and payments

When email is connected, contact details and request updates are sent to the email provider. Owner text alerts use the configured SMS provider. When payment is connected, Stripe hosts checkout and returns payment confirmation; ComfortEase stores payment status, totals, and optional tip amounts, not card numbers. Browser alert permission is optional.

Retention and requests

Records and photos remain stored in the service; automatic deletion and self-service account deletion are not implemented. Contact ComfortEase Consulting LLC through your existing business contact to request a correction or deletion. Automatic retention periods are not currently configured.

Future features

This notice covers public customer requests and owner management. It will be updated if the service changes how personal information is handled.
