Pricing & Policies
ComfortEase Junk Removal — a division of ComfortEase Consulting LLC · Updated October 9, 2026
Preliminary estimates
Estimates are preliminary ranges based on the items, photos, truck space, access and distance provided. They are not guaranteed final prices. The business owner reviews each request and approves or changes the quote. Photo recognition suggests items for customer confirmation. Truck space is automatically estimated from confirmed items; the owner determines the price for the actual job.
Move-out cleaning
Cleaning estimates use confirmed apartment size, bathroom count, condition and selected tasks. Removal and cleaning are shown separately when combined; extended travel is charged once. Ordinary cleaning includes floors, bathroom fixtures, kitchen surfaces, appliance exteriors, baseboards and accessible dusting. Appliance and cabinet interiors and limited interior glass are optional extras. The unit must be empty after removal, with water and power available. Carpet extraction, extensive wall washing and repairs need a separate quote. Uncertain conditions, large units or potential contamination require owner or specialist review. Photo AI suggests visible needs only; it cannot identify odors, hidden dirt or exact dimensions. You must be authorized to arrange service and identify belongings that may be removed. The final scope and price must be agreed before work starts.
Permission and condition photos
Customers must own the items or have lawful authority to authorize removal and access to the property. Identify everything that should be removed and everything that must remain before work begins. Landlords and property managers are responsible for confirming lawful authority to dispose of belongings; booking alone does not establish that authority.
ComfortEase takes before-and-after photos as a standard part of each job, with permission confirmed before work begins. Photos document the agreed work area, items, access path, existing damage and completed service. Please identify any privacy-sensitive areas. Job documentation is for service records and handling questions or claims. Permission to document a job does not grant permission to use photos in advertising. Photos do not waive customer rights or excuse damage caused by ComfortEase.
Safety and excluded materials
Disclose suspected hazardous materials, sharp objects, infestation and unsafe access before booking. Ordinary junk-removal and cleaning services exclude asbestos, biohazards, medical waste, explosives and hazardous chemicals. Do not put these materials in a standard pickup. Any regulated disposal requires a lawful specialist arrangement. ComfortEase may pause work to address unsafe conditions and agree a safe revised scope before proceeding.
Damage concerns
Tell ComfortEase promptly if you believe service caused damage. Provide the job reference, a description and any available photos through your private request or existing business contact. ComfortEase will review the concern and available documentation. This reporting process does not limit rights or remedies provided by law.
Access, travel and special items
Inside or upstairs removal may include access or labor charges. Extended-distance pickups may include travel charges. Convenient curbside, driveway or garage access can reduce applicable labor charges. Heavy or difficult items, including safes, pianos, concrete, brick and tile, require special review.
Approval and booking
Submitting a request does not confirm a booking. Booking becomes available after owner approval, and the customer accepts the approved quote and selects an available time. Additional items or changed access conditions must be reviewed; any revised price must be agreed before additional work begins.
Changes and cancellations
Use your request page to ask for cancellation or rescheduling as early as possible. The original appointment stays reserved until ComfortEase approves the change. Approved cancellations release the reserved time. No automatic cancellation fee is added. Refunds are handled separately from cancellation approval; the website does not issue them automatically. If a paid booking is canceled before service begins, ComfortEase refunds the service payment and any tip without adding a cancellation fee. If work has already begun, ComfortEase reviews the agreed scope and completed work with the customer and refunds any payment for work not performed; additional charges require agreement. If ComfortEase cancels and performs no service, the payment is refunded. Approved refunds go to the original payment method when available; the payment provider and bank determine processing time. Contact ComfortEase through your private request or existing business contact to request a refund. These policies do not limit rights provided by law.
Customer access and scheduling
Customers do not need a ChatGPT account. Save your private request link to return from another device. Anyone holding the link can access your request; keep it private. Links expire after 90 days and can be replaced by the owner. Bookings reserve job duration plus a travel buffer. All pickup times use Chicago time.
Updates and payments
Request updates appear inside the site. Optional browser alerts work while the page is open and permission is enabled. Email and owner SMS delivery require connected services; availability is shown in owner controls. Online payment is offered only when checkout is connected, after an owner-approved quote is booked. Payment status is confirmed by the payment provider, not by returning from checkout. Tips are optional and shown separately from the approved service price. Cards are entered on the payment provider’s checkout, not stored by ComfortEase.
